According to Network World, Arm announced at SC25 – the International Conference for High Performance Computing, Networking, Storage, and Analysis – that it’s joining Nvidia’s NVLink Fusion ecosystem alongside existing partners Intel, Fujitsu, and Qualcomm. NVLink Fusion, which Nvidia announced at Computex in May, lets partners build what Nvidia describes as semi-custom AI infrastructure. An analyst called opening the NVLink ecosystem a “masterstroke” that leaves Nvidia firmly in control.
